Order Routing (Station Routing)
Sending each ordered item to the kitchen station that prepares it, instead of one ticket for the whole line.
Order routing, or station routing, splits an incoming order so each item reaches the station that prepares it: grill, fry, salad, bar. Without it, every screen shows every item and cooks have to pick out their own. In Opero, routing is set by the station tag on each menu product, and the kitchen fires one ticket per station per order; any kitchen screen can be locked to a single station so it shows only its own work. Opero can also read your menu and propose stations and routing to apply in one step; the station list is account-wide, up to 20.
