KDS (Kitchen Display System)
A kitchen screen that replaces paper tickets and routes orders to the right station.
A Kitchen Display System shows incoming orders on a screen at the line instead of printing paper chits, routing items to the correct station and tracking ticket times. It cuts down on lost tickets and helps the kitchen pace coursing. In Opero, the KDS is part of the same platform as the POS, kiosk, and QR ordering, so every order — no matter where it originates — lands on the same kitchen screen.
