Program overview
Program name: TackOn LLC SMS Communications
Opero is a product of TackOn LLC. This SMS program is operated by TackOn LLC and applies to Opero, BuildCrux, TackOn FSM, and TackOn Connect.
Operator: TackOn LLC, the company behind Opero. Federal EIN on file with TCR (The Campaign Registry).
Use case: Mixed. Opero sends SMS to people who have opted in, in connection with their own orders, reservations, account, and the restaurants they interact with. Message categories include:
- Order & receipt confirmations
- Reservation and waitlist notifications
- Loyalty and rewards updates
- Customer support and follow-ups
- Account and service notifications
- Trial onboarding (for operators)
Sender: Messages are sent from TackOn LLC–managed 10DLC long codes operated under A2P 10DLC with The Campaign Registry (TCR). Each message identifies the sending product (for example, Opero) and, where relevant, the restaurant, in the message body.
How users opt in
A person only receives SMS after they provide their own mobile number and affirmatively opt in. Opt-in happens through one of these channels:
- At-checkout guest capture — a guest enters their mobile number at a self-order kiosk or checkout and checks the unchecked rewards/offers consent box. Their receipt is sent either way; SMS marketing is sent only if the box is checked.
- Account settings — operators who add a phone number in product settings and check the consent box (for operator notifications).
- Support requests — contacting support and asking to be reached by text.
In every case the consent checkbox is unchecked by default, appears directly beneath the phone-number field with the verbatim disclosure shown below, and the user must affirmatively check it. Phone collection and SMS consent are never a condition of purchase or of using Opero.Available opt-in channels vary; each product’s A2P opt-in evidence reflects the channels it actually implements.
What the opt-in looks like
This is exactly what a guest sees at the opt-in point (the kiosk / checkout receipt screen). The checkbox is unchecked by default and appears directly beneath the optional phone-number field; the user must actively check it.

The empty box above represents the checkbox in its default (unchecked) state. Submitting without checking it enrolls no one in SMS marketing — the receipt is sent regardless.
Verbatim disclosure text shown to users
The following disclosure appears next to the unchecked checkbox at every opt-in point. The checkbox label is the consent statement; the user must affirmatively check it before any SMS is sent.
I agree to receive text messages from TackOn LLC regarding my request, appointments, account notifications, customer support, onboarding, and product-related communications. Message frequency varies. Confirmation message after opt-in
Immediately after a user opts in, a single welcome message confirms enrollment:
Opero: You’re opted in to SMS updates about your orders, reservations, and rewards. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

This page documents the TackOn LLC SMS consent framework used across Opero, BuildCrux, TackOn FSM, and TackOn Connect. It exists for two audiences: users who want to know how their phone number will be used, and TCR (The Campaign Registry) reviewers verifying our A2P 10DLC registration. The opt-in flow described above matches the production Opero product as of the “Last updated” date.
