Print Routing (Kitchen Printer Routing)

The rules that decide which printer, if any, gets each receipt or kitchen ticket.

Print routing is the map from document to printer: which unit prints receipts, which prints kitchen tickets, which stations get paper, and where copies go. In Opero it lives on one settings page: a receipt printer, a kitchen printer, each station set to screen, paper or both, an optional expo ticket, and a ticket layout of one per station or one per order. On top of that sit plain-English rules such as 'when a kiosk receipt prints, also print a copy at the kitchen', with a preview of what prints where. Opero prints only to supported network printers or one plugged into a kitchen or kiosk tablet; a paper-only station's ticket clears the board once the printer confirms.
