Seat Numbers
Tagging each item to the guest who ordered it.
Seat numbering records which position at the table ordered each item, so food can be delivered without auctioning it off and checks can be split by person afterwards. It costs a moment at the point of ordering and saves considerably more at delivery and at payment. It is close to essential in fine dining and largely optional in fast casual.
