Covers
The number of guests served, counted per person rather than per table.
A 'cover' is one guest served; a party of four is four covers. Covers drive metrics like sales per cover and help right-size staffing and prep. Opero's command center reports covers and sales by location, giving multi-unit operators a like-for-like way to compare demand across restaurants.
