Order Ahead (Pickup Time Slots and Cutoff)
Letting a guest order now for pickup at a chosen time, inside the hours and lead time the kitchen can handle.
Order ahead lets a guest place and pay for a pickup order before they arrive, choosing either as-soon-as-possible or a later time slot, so the kitchen gets lead time. Two per-location settings keep it sane: prep time, the promise behind the ASAP estimate, and a cutoff, how long before closing the page stops taking orders. In Opero's online ordering page, guests pick ASAP, estimated from the location's prep time, or a fifteen-minute slot later today inside service hours less the cutoff; the server re-checks the slot at payment, and the order reaches the kitchen screen and ticket marked online pickup with the chosen time. Opero is same-day only: no next-day or future-date pre-ordering, by design.
