Digital Menu Board
A TV screen that shows the menu and prices from the same data the register uses, instead of a printed board.
A digital menu board is a TV screen that shows the menu, prices and photos in place of a printed board, so a price change or a sold-out item is fixed on screen, not with a marker. In Opero it is a device you add in Devices and open in a TV's browser or cast from an Android tablet; it reads the location's one live menu, shows each category's items with price, description and photo under your logo and brand color, and re-fetches about once a minute, so an 86 or price change reaches the TV with nothing to re-publish. Limits: no dayparts, no video or promo tiles, one fixed layout, the same full menu on every board, English only.
