Dayparting
Splitting the day into trading periods and managing each as its own business.
Dayparting divides trading into defined periods — breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner, late night — and analyses sales, labor and menu mix within each rather than across the whole day. It is how an operator finds that a strong dinner is subsidising a loss-making afternoon. It also drives operational decisions like time-limited menus and staffing shape. Opero supports per-location menus that can be built once and copied, so a daypart menu does not mean maintaining a second system.
