86 (Out of Stock)
Restaurant shorthand for an item that is sold out or unavailable.
To '86' an item means it's no longer available — the kitchen is out of an ingredient or a dish is pulled for the shift. Communicating an 86 quickly keeps servers from selling what the kitchen can't make. When a dish is 86'd in Opero, it can hide across every ordering surface at once — POS, kiosk, and QR — so guests never order something the line can't fire.
