Multi-Brand & Franchise Reporting — Every Brand, One Account

Define your brands, assign your locations, and see per-brand sales and labor next to consolidated group totals — all on one account, one login.

See every brand's numbers separately and rolled up on one Opero account — per-brand sales and labor plus consolidated group totals that foot exactly, no spreadsheets.

Running two brands out of one company is where restaurant reporting falls apart. A taqueria and a wing concept, three franchise stores under one banner, or four delivery-only brands sharing a single kitchen — each throws off its own numbers, and you end up with a login per brand and a spreadsheet to add them back together. Opero keeps every brand on one account: define your brands, assign your locations, and Reports rolls sales and labor up by brand and for the whole group in one view.

Define your brands in one account

In /manage/brands you group your locations into brands — one banner spread across many stores, or several distinct concepts run out of shared kitchens. A location belongs to a brand, and a brand is however you actually organize the business. Everything stays under one Opero account and one login, so there is no separate portal to spin up every time you launch a concept.

  • Create a brand for each concept, banner, or franchise unit.
  • Assign every location to the brand it belongs to.
  • Run it all from one account — no login per brand.
  • Launch a new virtual brand without standing up new software.

See each brand's numbers, separately and rolled up

In Reports, the account-wide All-locations view carries a by-brand roll-up. Each brand gets its own line — net sales, orders, average ticket, tips, labor cost, and labor % — right next to a consolidated total for the whole group. You see how the wing brand did against the taqueria, and you see the company as a whole, without opening a second report or exporting anything.

The totals foot exactly

The per-brand rows are rolled up from the same paid orders and clocked hours as the per-location breakdown, in integer cents — so the brands sum to the exact consolidated total, and the by-brand and by-location tables always agree. No cent of drift, no reconciliation step.

Built for ghost kitchens and virtual brands

If you run several delivery-only brands out of one kitchen, they share a roof but need separate reads. Group each virtual brand as its own brand and it shows up as its own line in the roll-up, even when the orders came off the same POS in the same room. You get a real picture of which concept is carrying the kitchen and which one is dead weight — from the same account, no separate analytics tool bolted on.

Built for franchise groups and multi-concept operators

Whether you run one brand across many stores or own a handful of different concepts yourself, the shape is the same: you need each unit's numbers on their own and the group's numbers together. The by-brand roll-up gives you both from the same dashboard the locations already run on — so the group view is current, not a month-end assembly of files everyone emailed in.

Labor per brand, grounded in real hours

Each brand's labor cost and labor % come from staff clocking in and out on Opero's built-in time-clock, not a number you type in. Because the same platform takes the order and records the shift, you can read labor against sales brand by brand and catch the concept that is overstaffed for what it actually sells — instead of averaging the problem across the whole group.

One platform, one per-location price

Multi-brand and franchise reporting is part of Opero Pro — $499 per location, per month, month-to-month. It does not change how Opero is priced: still one price per location, still unlimited tablet-based devices at every site with no per-device fee, still the iPads and Android tablets you already own. Adding a brand is an organizational choice, not another software bill.

  • Included on Pro — no separate reporting or franchise add-on.
  • Priced per location per month, month-to-month.
  • Unlimited devices per location on hardware you already own.
  • Define as many brands as your business actually has.

Why on-spine brand reporting beats a spreadsheet

The usual multi-brand setup is a POS per concept and a spreadsheet that merges them once a month — stale by the time it is done and wrong the moment a number changes. Opero reports brands off the same spine that rings every order and records every shift, so the by-brand numbers come from live operating data that already agrees with itself. One account, one dataset, one view of the whole group.

Frequently asked questions

What is multi-brand reporting and how does it work?
You define your brands in /manage/brands and assign each location to a brand. Reports then adds a by-brand roll-up to the account-wide view, so you see each brand's net sales, orders, average ticket, tips, labor cost, and labor % on its own line, plus a consolidated total for the whole group.
Can I run several virtual brands out of one kitchen?
Yes. Group each delivery-only or virtual brand as its own brand, and it appears as its own line in the roll-up even when the orders came off the same POS in the same room. That gives each concept a separate read while they share the kitchen and the account.
Do the per-brand numbers reconcile with my location totals?
Exactly. The by-brand rows are rolled up from the same paid orders and clocked hours as the per-location breakdown, computed in integer cents, so the brands sum to the same consolidated total and the by-brand and by-location tables always agree — no drift, no manual reconciliation.
What plan includes multi-brand and franchise reporting?
It is part of Opero Pro — $499 per location, per month, month-to-month. There is no separate franchise or reporting add-on. Pricing stays per location, with unlimited tablet-based devices at every site and no per-device fee.
What does each brand's report show?
Net sales, total collected, orders, average ticket, tips, labor cost, and labor %, per brand, next to the consolidated group total. Labor figures come from staff clocking in and out on Opero's built-in time-clock, so they reflect real hours rather than an estimate.
Do I need a separate login for each brand?
No. Every brand lives under one Opero account and one login. You group locations into brands once, and the by-brand roll-up and consolidated totals both come from that single account — no portal to spin up per concept.
